bestelling

Dat lijkt me zo mooi.

In Frankfurt.

1. ‘What a toady that is, that bartender.’

2. ‘Hi.’
‘Hey.’
‘Thinks that he’s popular.’
‘Very interesting figure. Yawn.’

3. ‘Look at that. The arrogance.’
‘Disgusting how he’s showing off.’

4. ‘Irritating how he’s touching his hair all the time. Does he think that he’s getting prettier by it?’
‘No, I don’t think so. I don’t think that he thinks.’

5. ‘No, it’s typically behaviour of people that don’t think. It’s nice that it’s easy to see.’

6. ‘…and he was really stupid. Each time I payed him with 10,- he gave me 4 coins of 2,50 back.

8. ‘Hey, what’s the matter? Are you jealous!?’

The Last T.
The only 1 with me.

If you send me some beershirts I’ll continue.

brouwerij ‘t ij

Brouwerij 't IJ

3 Months to go & I’m working at Brewery ‘t IJ for 14 years. Tapping & serving beer.
Giving tours.
Shouting the last calls.
Shouting the bar is closed.
Cutting salami & cheese.
Cleaning the floor.
Counting tips.
Get rid of the garbage.
Have a talk with my colleagues.
Leaving messages in our journal for the ones that are not there that day.
Doing some other things too.

I used to work in a public library. On saturdays.
That was also for a period of 14 years I was doing that.

2 Times 14 years makes you an old man.

I do count.

Some people think you’re kind of autistic if you do that.

But I just count sometimes. When my head doesn’t have anything else to do.

So I counted at what day I would become 10,000 days old.
& 13 Years later I counted the 15,000th day of my life.

I could also count how often I walked these stairs.

I work there for nearly 14 years you see.
3 Days a week.
Each day I work there I at least go up & down the stairs 3 times.
An extra time when I do the tour on fridays.

That’s what I count. I count my life in numbers.

So one has a certain perspective to look at it.

Bierkoning

I’ve been wearing this 1 last sunday, but I didnt have time that day to put it online.

The day after I was busy doing other things.

The day after that I forgot.

Then I didn’t feel like it.

& 1 Day I realized it was because I was nearly done with it.

So after this 1 another 3 to go.
3 Days.

Starting now.

1340

I stayed at home.
Had a headache. All night long.
Didn’t sleep.

The only thing I did today was sitting behind my computer.

That’s all.

Now I’m gonna do the 2nd thing: change shirts.

smoked

Smoked

Finally I can choose again whatever T-shirt I want to wear.

This is a longsleeve. & Longsleeves I’m always wearing underneath a shortsleeve.

Not that I don’t like this one, but I’m free to do whatever I like.

Instead of wearing shirts of beers I don’t like.

But this beer here, the smoked porter, was something special. Worth wearing the T-shirt.

I’ve been trying it several times: taking pictures of shirts in the train.

But it’s so annoying that other people can hear you doing it. My cellphone makes that noise when taking a photograph.

There is a way to turn it off, a friend of mine found out.

The only problem now is that I don’t have any shirts left to take with me in the train.

I wanted to write a short message, for all the neighbours at the other side of the street. To let them know that each morning I wake up at 8.37.

‘Dear neighbours,
Each morning I wake up at 8.37.
That’s because someone is hooting to 1 of you. That certain ‘you’ is about to be picked up by that person. & That person wants to let ‘you’ know that he/she is there.

So, I’m waking up 2 hrs early than planned.
I do have another schedule, you see.’

I want to write something like that.

Because at days like this I keep on feeling tired. While this should be my day off.

I should rest.

I should be kept in peace.

So I’m able to let you people know what T-shirt I’m about to wear today.

I’m quite late now.
